General Information

District Trade and Industry Centers (MSME) are known as engines of economic growth and for promoting overall development. The Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) was formed on 5 April 2016 to strengthen MSME. Establishment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department aims at creating policies for MSMEs that enable them to develop as well as strengthen them. With the help of Department of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME work to promote socio-economic development and employment opportunities in Khargone district. By promoting rural entrepreneurship, the department empowers the rural economy as well as general rural people and rural women in particular. The department provides access to credit Facility, technology and local and global markets to MSMEs. The department also develops clusters to provide minimum common facilities to MSMEs. The department encourages the youth through self-employment schemes to set up their enterprises in their home town / village.
