Farmer Shri Mahesh S/O Shri Ramsharan Patel  is known as a progressive farmer of village Balgaon, block Kasravad district Khargone. He used to cultivate traditional crops of cotton and wheat, but now cultivating horticultural crops. The reason for this was that the cost of farming was higher but the income was less. Due to which he could hardly earn. By taking a drip plant on a grant from the Horticulture Department, he planted a tissue culture banana garden in 10 hectares. It cost Rs.225,000 / – per hectare and net income was Rs.2,50,000 / – per hectare. Cultivation of this tissue culture banana has also changed their economic condition and they have also enabled the facility of auto mission-crop management technology machine. With the help of this, today they are able to give water and fertilizer as per need for irrigation of our lands. Due to which crop production as well as income and economic condition has improved greatly. They have also helped farmers of village Balgaon to cultivate tissue culture bananas
