Spice Sector Extension Scheme

Under the Spices Sector Extension Scheme, 50% grant is provided to the farmers by the State Government for planting seed crops like chilli crops.

Beneficiary:

Under the scheme, equal amount of grant is provided to all types of beneficiaries of general, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and below poverty line living and senior citizens.

Benefits:

Under the scheme, the beneficiary receives 50 percent of the total cost of the crop in the form of a grant and the benefit from the sale of the crop is of the farmer himself.
