M.P. Marriage Support Scheme under Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board

Assistance is provided to the economically poor construction workers for improving their living standards and providing social security by providing economic benefits. Under the scheme, 51 thousand rupees per marriage assistance and in the case of organizing mass marriage, 48 thousand rupees and 3 thousand rupees per organizer is payable separately!

Beneficiary:

1. Construction workers registered as beneficiaries 2. Renewal of registration / annual contribution should be submitted at the time of application. 3. The woman beneficiary's own marriage, the construction worker's religious or lawful adoption of the beneficiary or step daughter whose age is not less than 18 years at the time of marriage. To the extent of two daughters of the construction worker.

Benefits:

The applicant has to apply 1 day before the proposed date of marriage! It is necessary to have the signature of the registered construction worker and his daughter. The Chief Executive Officer in the rural area, the District Panchayat and the Commissioner / Chief Municipal Officer in the urban area, the Municipal Corporation / Municipality are required to apply by the day before the wedding.

How To Apply

On the marriage of the daughter of the construction worker, the information has to be filled in the prescribed form and submitted to the designated officer.
It is necessary to have the signature of the registered construction worker and his daughter. Assistance is payable to a maximum of two daughters under the Marriage Assistance Scheme.
