M.P. Funeral and Grace Assistance Scheme on Death under Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board

Assistance is provided for improving the quality of life and providing social security to the families of economically disadvantaged construction workers by providing the benefit of funeral and ex-gratia support.

Beneficiary:

1. Construction workers registered as beneficiaries. 2. Renewal of registration / annual contribution should be submitted at the time of application. 3. Construction workers should be over 18 years of age and below 60 years.

Benefits:

6000 as funeral assistance on the death of the registered construction worker. 2 lakh will be given to the family of the laborers and on the common death as ex-gratia. And Rs 4 lakh on accidental death. Worker's family will be payable.

How To Apply

On the death of the construction worker, the family has to fill the information in the prescribed form and submit it to the designated officer.
Designated officer
Rural Area – Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat
Urban Area – Commissioner / Chief Municipal Officer / Urban Body.
