Delimitation of Village Panchayats from July 1

As per the directions of the State Election Commission, the proceedings of delimitation at the three-level Panchayats Gram Janpad and District level will be taken from July 1 to July 31. In this regard, the concerned officers have been instructed to include all new settlements and include in the proceedings of the delimitation as per the directions of the State Election Commission. According to the commission’s instructions, the gram panchayats having more than 5000 population will be divided. The population of newly formed Panchayat should be between 2 thousand and 2500.
