One District One Product – CHILI

Chili Information

Under the “One District One Product” (ODOP) scheme, chili has been selected as the designated crop for Khargone district. Currently, the area under chili cultivation in Khargone district is 45,000 hectares, with a production of 157,500 metric tons.

For outstanding performance in achieving the targets set under the ODOP scheme, the district received “Runner-Up Certificate” for the year 2024-25. Red chili powder is being produced from dried chili.
