Students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who are eligible for post matric scholarship will be eligible.

It is compulsory for the students to reside at the Tehsil level / district level and division level by rent.

Housing allowance is sanctioned to the students at the tehsil level 1000 per month at the district level, 1250 per month at the district level and 2000 per month at the division level.

How to avail the scheme

(Point-wise complete application process)

1. The students of SC will have to make online application of Housing Assistance Scheme every year through the portal http://scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in on the scheduled dates.
2. Students of ST students have to make online applications of Housing Assistance Scheme on MPTAAS portal (https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas ) every year on the scheduled dates.
Submit the soft copy of the online application to the concerned college.
3. Approval is made by the principal of the college concerned.
4. After acceptance, the amount gets deposited in the bank account of the students.
