Plastic Crates Scheme

Under the National Agricultural Development Scheme, maximum 50 percent grant is provided by the Central Government to the farmers who purchase plastic crates.

Beneficiary:

Under the scheme, equal amount of grant is provided to all types of beneficiaries of general, scheduled castes, scheduled castes and below poverty line living and senior citizens.

Benefits:

Under the National Agricultural Development Scheme, a maximum of 50 percent of the total cost for purchasing plastic crates is received in the form of grant, which provides financial assistance to the farmer and costs less for the farmer. Also it can be used to keep the vegetable crop being taken by the farmer.
